There are several places in the Department of Computer Science and at the RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in general where students can get advice about their studies. Students can obtain most information in the department. Advice on examinations is given by both the department and the Examination Office.

The students in the Department of Computer Science always go to great lengths to give first-hand advice to students and potential students and to share their own experiences. The students can usually be found in the common room in the department (especially during semesters and often at lunchtime!). They will be happy to give advice about the degree courses and the university itself and may be able to lend you old exam papers and give tips and suggestions about studies.
Mentors
Each student doing a master in Computer Science is allocated an individual supervisor to help actively with the planning of their studies. Students should discuss individual study plans and any study problems with their supervisor.
Lecturers and members of staff
An appointment can be made with any lecturer or member of staff to clarify specific questions about lectures or seminars, exams or final assignments.
