Projects and theses can also be carried out abroad with the approval of the professors of the department.
Typically, in this case, professors refer good students known to them to colleagues abroad.
For this way, one must already have made oneself known to them (e.g. through a good bachelor thesis).
Some advantages of writing a thesis abroad are:
- closer supervision (instead of attending anonymous lectures),
- no tuition fees; only living expenses have to be financed,
- the work can often be done synchronously with the lecture times at the TU Kaiserslautern.
- Fraunhofer IESE maintains a branch office in Maryland that repeatedly hosts students from TU Kaiserslautern.
- Prof. Dengel has a cooperation with Japan, where he places students.
Finally, you will find below a table with the various contacts of the professors of the department, who will be happy to support you in your project.
This table is not exhaustive. For further contacts, please contact the professors of the department.
