At TU Kaiserslautern there are numerous opportunities to spend part of your studies abroad.
For many of these opportunities, TU Kaiserslautern offers you very good support through partnership agreements or other contacts.
Students rarely need to worry about money: there are numerous possibilities,
to organize your studies abroad without financial worries: Deadlines (Bafög, exams) are extended, scholarships and BAFÖG are usually adjusted upwards.
It is therefore worthwhile to inform yourself.
A semester of leave can be applied for when studying abroad.
Thus, the semester counter at the TU Kaiserslautern stands, although examinations may be taken abroad.
In fact, this extends the registration deadlines of the studies.
However, this only applies to examinations abroad.
The TU Kaiserslautern would like to promote studying abroad and make it more attractive.
However, since the lecture times abroad are often offset to those of the TU Kaiserslautern, it may be more advantageous, to forego the semester off and also take examinations at the TU Kaiserslautern. Careful planning should be made here and student counseling should be sought.
