The ERASMUS program - often also called the Socrates program - opens up students relatively easy access to a stay abroad at a European university during their European university during their studies.

Within the framework of the Erasmus program, students have the opportunity to complete a study period of at least 3 to a maximum of 12 months at one of our partner universities.

Information about the application process

Basically, the following steps are necessary for the application process:

1. Select partner university and choose lectures to be attended.

   Please note the dates and deadlines: start planning at least 6 months, better 1 year before the desired stay abroad!

2. Talk with the Erasmus coordinator of the department, currently Dr. habil. B. Shürmann.
   
3. After clarifying the open questions, fill out an application (possible online via this Link)
4. With the completed and signed application, the next steps, such as application to the host university, can now be initiated at the International Department.
