The ERASMUS program - often also called the Socrates program - opens up
students relatively easy access to a stay abroad at a European university during their
European university during their studies.
Within the framework of the Erasmus program,
students have the opportunity to complete a study period of at
least 3 to a maximum of 12 months at one of our partner universities.

Information about the application process
Basically, the following steps are necessary for the application process:
- Select partner university and choose lectures to be attended.
Please note the dates and deadlines: start planning at least 6 months, better 1 year before the desired stay abroad!
- Talk with the Erasmus coordinator of the department, currently Dr. habil. B. Shürmann.
- After clarifying the open questions, fill out an application (possible online via this Link)
- With the completed and signed application, the next steps, such as application to the host university, can now be initiated at the International Department.
